6 days in a beautiful mountain retreat in the heart of Bali + 3 days in the busteling beach town of Kuta. More than 20 hours of excellent instruction; hot shimmies, drum solo, pop-choreography, dance of 7 veils, zills, flamenco-oriental, lectures on related topics, introductory lessons in Balinese dance, Balinese cooking class, Balinese dance show, drumming and dancing under the stars. Bali being such a lovely place, we wish to give something back to the local community. Therefore, all proceeds from the retreat goes to local charities (none of the instructors are paid, this is labour of love for all of us). This year we have chosen the Ubud based animal welfare organization BAWA Bali which employs local staff and is doing a tremendous job in reducing number of stray animals both through sterilization and adoption progams.
